Inspired by world travels and a passion for beauty, Drew Storin started his creative path at a young age. As a small child he was engaged in the arts through visual media including painting and theater. He later traded in his paint brush for a hair brush. Moving to New Orleans in 2010 as a nomad, he soon found himself making roots and calling it home. What started as an interest in hair, quickly became a passion. As a young apprentice at a major salon, he was able to gain the knowledge and experience to rapidly accelerate his career in cutting. In 2015 he branched out to help open a small boutique salon, becoming more independent and specializing in color services. 2017 became an exciting year when Drew was asked to join a small team in London for London Fashion week. The show focused on sustainable fashion, helped bring awareness to elephant poaching and the elephant tusk-ivory trade. The work of this small team was featured in British Vogue. Through his hard work and the dedication to his craft, Drew once again branched out in 2018 to open his own salon; The Salon By Drew Storin.
